Our Supreme Father Marshall Davis recommends that we consecrate our Christmas Trees as a sacred altar the recognizes the 12 manner of fruit on the Tree of Life. We discussed how to use the fruits of the spirit as symbol for our tree decorations to connect our thoughts to the kingdom of heaven and spiritual blessings that do not rot or fade away.
The Lesson of Jacob’s Thigh: Wrestling for Blessings
The Biblical records of Jacob’s life serve as a metaphor for us to contend with human instinct, mental reasoning, and angelic inspirations. His life journeys and aspirations teach us to strive for excellence even when it goes contrary to social traditions. God provides us with spiritual guides, often called angels, to help us navigate the pathways of life. Using metaphysical and astrological principles, the incidents of Jacob’s life, especially as a blessing changes his name to Israel, are discussed, evaluated, and urged during this session.
Using Mental Pictures to Look Into Your Life
Having a mental picture of how you desire to live will help you refuse to be misused or misguided in every level of your existence. A message from our Supreme Father Marshall Davis urges us to use our minds to “visualize and paint” virtuous visions of our live to overcome all manner of stumbling blocks and health issues. The session also uses the Hawaiian Ho’oponopono Prayer Technique introduced in a previous service by Megan Aderele.
Anniversary of Our Founder Mildred Miller’s Birth
In this virtual celebration, members of the Spiritual Guidance Temple of Truth and Divine Life Temple pay tribute to the 114th anniversary of the birth of our Illuminated Supreme Mother and Founder, Mildred Taylor Davis Miller. The celebration includes songs that she loved, precious memories from those that knew her and a beautiful discussion of one of the messages from Mother Miller’s archives. The discussion was led by St. Megan Aderele, who spoke on silent prayer, surrendering to God, and the Ho’oponopono prayer technique.
Silent Prayer Attains the Consciousness of Holiness
As the Bible says, “Only the pure in heart can see God.” Jesus the Christ tells us to pray by going into a room and speaking to our unseen Father. The Father will see what “is done in secret and will reward you. (Matt 6:6). As a meditation technique, the purity of heart we seek through meditating in secret is better explained in Chapter 40 of the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ. In this gospel, we learn that “your human will must be absorbed by the divine, then you will come into the consciousness of holiness.” This session discusses how to enter a silence that connects you to God’s wisdom, power, and love.
“I and My Father:” The Holy Lesson of the Twins
We have all heard that humans are created in the image of God. Many spiritual philosophies regard humans as a microcosm of the Great Macrocosm. In this discussion, we dare to consider that when a person is anointed with the One True Spirit, that person becomes a twin or spiritual duplicate of the Creator. As it says in the Bible (82nd Psalm), “ye are gods [Elohim] and all of you are children of the Most High.”
The Grand Master Key Part Two
Father Rodney Williams, from the Divine Life Temple, continues a lesson on becoming aware of your consciousness and using the power of the number 10 to attract spiritual blessing to your life.
The Grand Master Key
Father Rodney Williams presents part one an inspiring lesson on being conscious of your state of mind and how to understand the significance and power of the number 10 to understand the greatness of the unity expressed by the number one and the infinite possibility of the number zero. The lesson explores the spiritual virtues of tithing by focusing on the number 10 rather than on money.
Studying Our Life and History: Black Health and Wellness
Since ancient times, spiritual students have been urged to “Know Thyself.” The key phrase for the sign of Aquarius also is “I know.” The original purpose that Carter G. Woodson had for Black History Month was to study black life and history to glean the best from the past, and foresee a better future. Woodson promoted the idea of looking into the scientific knowledge being uncovered by Black scholars as a foundation for the soul searching into black achievements and progress. In this session, we look at the current theme for Black History Month, Black Health and Wellness, and the original purpose of the self-examinations into the history and literature of Black culture.
Achieving Your Goals with Seeds of Appreciation
Like a farmer using fertile soil to grow a better crop, we should use appreciation to improve the manifestation of our desires, ideas, and aspirations, according to a message from our Supreme Father Marshall L. Davis. A wonderful method of showing appreciation is to give tithes and offerings. These seeds “contribute greatly to your spiritual growth and your material prosperity,” Davis wrote in the message. During this conversation, several attendees expressed blessings they received from tithing and from showing appreciation to others in various ways.
