When it is enshrined in the manger of our mind, the symbols in the Nativity Scene can help us to awaken our consciousness to Christlike principles that will bring and grow joy, peace, and goodwill to our lives and to all those around us. Whether it is used as a meditation or just a general glance of a passerby, the symbols of the Nativity are a powerful uplift to humanity and human consciousness.

Kwanzaa Awareness, Exploration and Celebrations
I see Kwanzaa as a never-ending endeavor to pay homage to African philosophy, heritage, and universal principles that are highlighted by a week-long celebration that takes place at the end of a year. Kwanzaa uses significant symbols to build our awareness, encourage exploration, and actively celebrate the best of African, and African American culture.
Fruits of the Sacred Tree

The Lesson of Jacob’s Thigh: Wrestling for Blessings
The Biblical records of Jacob’s life serve as a metaphor for us to contend with human instinct, mental reasoning, and angelic inspirations. His life journeys and aspirations teach us to strive for excellence even when it goes contrary to social traditions. God provides us with spiritual guides, often called angels, to help us navigate the pathways of life. Using metaphysical and astrological principles, the incidents of Jacob’s life, especially as a blessing changes his name to Israel, are discussed, evaluated, and urged during this session.
